Best when
  • You need a team that can run a workstream end to end (features, integrations, portals, data pipelines, etc.)
  • You want to support your in-house team by delegating part of the workload
Not a fit if
  • You need a few extra engineers for your existing team or for a short task. Consider Staff Augmentation instead
  • If you can’t allocate a dedicated stakeholder empowered to make product and scope decisions

Team Composition

Team composition depends on your goals, existing team structure, and delivery requirements. A pod can be shaped in a few ways. It can cover a full product stream, strengthen a specific function, or fill a gap your internal team does not have capacity for right now.

Team Composition
Full product team
Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and any other roles needed to ship end-to-end.
Gap-focused team
Focused only on the functions you need to strengthen — integrations, data engineering, platform development, or others.
Function-focused team
DevOps, QA, or similar capability-focused teams built around a specific function.

[ how we work/ ]

The setup is meant to be easy to plan around. Each pod has a clear team setup, delivery rhythm, reporting, and metrics tied to the workstream.

Our Process

We don’t wait for a perfect spec. We run discovery and delivery in parallel, so the team can move fast, adjust early, and avoid building in the wrong direction.

Our Process
Alignment
1 week
Alignment
We start with a short conversation to understand your goals, constraints, and real scope. If there’s a fit, we move forward. If not, we’ll say it early.
Service Design
1-2 weeks
Service Design
We first dig into your situation, challenges, and constraints. Then we define the Development Pod baseline.
Delivery track
Two tracks run in parallel. Discovery validates user needs and shapes what to build next. Delivery builds, tests, and ships in steady iterations. Each track feeds the other, so the product keeps improving based on what works in your context.
Completion Handoff
~1 week
Completion Handoff
We ensure a smooth handoff of all materials and knowledge and can transition your project to our support team if desired.

Ownership Map

You stay close to what gets built. We handle everything it takes to build it well.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Choose a Pod when you want delivery to move without managing individual contributors yourself, and you need a specific outcome (for example, an integration or feature) rather than two additional engineers.

You own what gets built (priorities and business direction). We own how it gets delivered (plan, execution, quality, and delivery routines) for the agreed workstream. We’re accountable for execution, quality, and visibility. Timelines depend on priority stability, dependency readiness, and timely feedback or approvals from your side, so accountability is shared, but execution is on us.

No. Project management is included.

Weekly or biweekly check-ins and demos, a live delivery board (Jira or your tool), progress reporting, and a clear escalation path for blockers and risks.

Pods are typically a monthly team rate with a stable team composition. It’s predictable and easy to budget.

We staff Pods with mid-to-senior engineers and a strong Tech Lead. If a replacement is needed, we handle backfill and onboarding to keep delivery impact minimal.

You own the deliverables you pay for. Any pre-existing tools or accelerators we bring remain ours unless otherwise agreed.

Yes. We align with your access rules, security requirements, and internal policies.
