Project Overview

We are working on an ESports Matchmaking platform, which allows running Tournaments on online games, which involve players, streamers, and spectators. The platform supports free, paid, and sponsored tournaments by companies partners.

The paid platform activity builds on cryptocurrencies and utilizes platform-specific project token, USDT, and MATIC tokens (fiat and more cryptocurrencies is part of the development roadmap). The platform is oriented for external game developers, which could integrate their games and get some revenue from paid commissions as well.

  • The project has a goal to make the cryptocurrency world accessible for all users, making paid operations as easy as possible
  • Dev-team and each team member actively involved in making product decisions and collaborate with a customer as with a partner, but not as a task picker
  • The product development has a long-term focus and goals
  • High level of technical experience in the dev team, which includes mostly consist of middle and senior level engineers
  • Complex payments system including crypto and fiat transactions, continuously extended by new features
Team Composition:

Delivery Manager, 4 SE (1 Software Architect, 2 Full-stack SE, 1 Backend SE, QA, DevOps

Responsibilities
  • Integration with 3rd party game clients and APIs
  • Building or taking a part in building game servers for small games
  • Building new features on UI (React)
  • Building new features on the server side (NodeJS, NestJS)
  • Taking a part in the full development lifecycle, starting from the technical decomposition of new initiatives and ending by delivering them to production

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Good knowledge of ReactJS (or similar SPA experience with readiness to switch to React)
  • Good knowledge of NodeJS on the server-side (experience with NestJS will be a plus)
  • Using Clean Code practices
  • Knowing and using software design patterns and architecture patterns
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Writing tests experience (Unit test must have, Integration and E2E will be a plus) 
  • Building Rest APIs with real-time connections (WS)
  • Readiness to work with Cryptocurrencies and basic knowledge of it (understanding what is blockchain, smart-contract, and wallets)
Workflow

Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Lean. 1-week sprints, Daily meetings at 10:15, weekly meetings at 18:00 EEST
