Our client is a comprehensive US real estate technology platform that serves agents, clients, and industry professionals through integrated transaction management, property search, and client engagement solutions.

We are looking for a self-driven and proactive Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who feels comfortable evolving an application from a startup-stage product to a production-grade platform within complex business domains. You will work as part of our team, engaging in direct client communication, with an initial focus on modernizing a part of the application called the Workshop module and potentially transitioning to other platform areas after completing the initial scope of work.

The Workshop module handles transaction management, e-signature workflows, document processing, financial tracking, and notification systems. Focus will be given to refactoring monolithic architecture into maintainable, scalable components within defined sprint iterations.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience in enterprise-oriented system transformation, who enjoys full-stack development with a backend focus (75% backend, 25% frontend), and thrives in collaborative environments with direct client interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Be a core contributor to the modernization of the Workshop module from monolithic controllers to a maintainable service architecture
  • Design and implement clean internal APIs for transaction management, e-signature, and notification systems
  • Refactor large-scale monolithic code while maintaining backward compatibility during transition
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including software engineers, DM, QA, DevOps, and BA
  • Work closely with the client PO and CTO to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Participate in sprint planning and maintain strong asynchronous communication practices
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with a strong backend focus (75% backend, 25% frontend)
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API development
  • Solid experience with React for frontend development
  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ) and caching solutions (Redis)
  • Experience with async workflow processing and event-driven architecture patterns
  • Legacy system modernization experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills for client collaboration and remote team coordination
  • Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional environments with direct client interaction
  • Upper-Intermediate English level minimum

Nice-to-have: nestJS, e-signature technologies, notification system design, real estate domain knowledge
