Project Overview

The purpose of the project is the development of a comprehensive sophisticated solution to drive negotiations between USA healthcare system players.

Key technical aspects: Complicated code base, service-oriented architecture, infrastructure as a code, low downtime, SOC2 compliance, release planning.

Team Composition:

4 developers (3 backends, 1 frontend), 2 QA, 1 BA, 1 Designer, 1 Delivery Manager

Responsibilities
  • Requirements management
  • Solution design
  • Continuous communication with the client, identifying needs and problems
  • Business processes optimization
  • Backlog items prioritization
  • Putting features ideas & improvements to the RoadMap
  • Participation in creation of product/project vision and development strategy
  • Creating and maintaining documentation
  • Help team understand product’s vision and client’s needs
  • Facilitating meetings
  • Conducting and facilitating Discovery process
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience in the IT field
  • Ability to work with complex business logic
  • Ability to analyze the problem and offer a solution
  • Experience working with different software development methodologies
  • Solid understanding of SDLC
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Attention to details, problem-solving skills, and ability to work without supervision
  • Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English
Workflow

Methodology: Scrum

PO role is shared between the client representatives and BA

Type and time of meetings, their frequency: 2-week sprints, 2-3 releases per quarter;

Meetings:

Daily:

  • daily scrum meetings at 10-30 am Kyiv time

Weekly:

  • refinement sessions with clients - 2 times per week
  • product design review with client - 1 time per week
  • process review with client  - 1 time per week

Bi-weekly (1 per sprint)

  • backlog refinement with client and team  
  • sprint review with client and team  
  • team capacity review and planning
  • retrospective with the team
