Project Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer who can handle different internal projects with a focus on front-end side. The department deals with 3 projects and consists of 1 SE, QA, DevOps, BA and PM. 

Currently, there are 2 actively developed projects and 1 in maintenance. We're looking for additional support to assist with them.

The primary technology for new features will be React with TypeScript, but the existing Angular project requires maintenance. We also plan to use the Microfrontends concept (such as https://single-spa.js.org/) to utilize React as much as possible.

    • Java (Spring Boot)

Team Composition:

1 SE, QA, DevOps, BA and PM

Responsibilities
  • Developing new features

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience building web applications
  • Experience with React, and readiness to work with Angular and jQuery
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Material UI or similar UI toolkits
  • Experience with Rest APIs integrations on front-end side
  • Experience with Webocket for real-time events handling
  • Willingness to work on BE (with Java and Node.js) or some experience with BE or understanding it will be a plus
  • Experience with SQL databases (MariaDB or PostgreSQL) is nice to have 
  • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose is nice to have 
  • Understanding basic design patterns
  • A solid grounding in computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design practices
  • Following basic programming principles to write a clean code (DRY, KISS, Abstraction Principle, Avoid Creating a YAGNI)
  • Experience with unit and e2e testing is a big plus
  • Self-reliance
  • At least an intermediate level of English
