Ideal Brilliant LAUNCH SITE

Situation

Ideal Brilliant is a diamond dealer who over three generations has become established as one of the most respected companies in the business. With such high standards, they needed to redesign and modernize their outdated web presence, propelling their selling and marketing strategies for the future. The main purpose of the site is to provide access for their customers to their vast diamond database. The old website had both a confusing interface that discouraged users and a design that was generic and visually disconnected from Ideal Brilliants image.

Strategy

We planned to do a complete overhaul of their old website with a fresher, more targeted, approach. Visually, our clean design looked to highlight their established brand by showcasing imagery from their successful print campaign. Structurally, the site would be divided into two different sections. The open access part of the site would reinforcing their brand image with photos and content, allowing clients to learn more about them. The second part of their site would be the password protected diamond database search, which needed to be extremely intuitive so clients could easily find diamonds that fit their requirements. We also wanted to directly integrate their inventory software into thee website, removing manual upload and streamlining their business, so that the online database remained up to date with listings of the latest inventory.

Results

Through the revitalization of their site, Ideal Brilliant is now a more cohesive company communicating a stronger clearer message of excellence. The new diamond search allows their sales team to connect to their clients more effectively, and its structure promotes sales by having their rapidly changing inventory easily accessible.
